Ours just happens to have a few more paws.
Meet the team behind every story, every comic, every adventure, and every
carefully packed envelope.
Every great newspaper has a newsroom. Ours just happens to have a fewmore paws.
Welcome to the heart of The Paw Post—where stories are brainstormed,
comics are approved (eventually), snack breaks happen far more often
than scheduled, and every edition is created with a whole lot of heart.
Meet the four-legged crew behind the newspaper… and the one very
dedicated human trying to keep them all on schedule.
The brilliant minds (and wagging tails) behind every edition.
What does a typical day at The Paw Post look like?
It usually starts with coffee, quickly turns into brainstorming, includes at
least one interrupted meeting because someone spotted a squirrel outside,
and somehow ends with another Newspaper ready to head to the printer.
Every edition is created with original stories, original illustrations, puzzles,
activities, and plenty of love from our little newsroom.
It’s a little chaotic.
It’s always fun.
And we wouldn’t have it any other way
Every good issue starts with a very serious meeting.
The Crew gathers around the newsroom table to plan the next edition. Luna keeps everyone on schedule, Mandy takes notes, Zoe supervises, and Larry contributes several excellent ideas—most of which involve treats, toys, or abandoning the meeting entirely.
This is where the scribbles start becoming stories.
Ideas are pinned, shuffled, debated and occasionally stolen off the table. We hunt for stories worth sharing, dream up activities and surprises, and slowly piece together the next Paw Post. Larry remains convinced every issue needs significantly more coverage of him.
Nothing leaves the newsroom without Crew approval.
Every story, puzzle, illustration and tiny detail gets one last look before making the final cut. Luna takes quality control extremely seriously. Mandy checks it again. Larry mostly checks whether anything edible has accidentally been included.
STAMP: APPROVED.
The deadline has been survived. Sound the squeakers.
The stories are finished, the pages are ready and another edition of The Paw Post is officially complete. There may be cheering. There may be treats. There may also be one employee throwing things in the air despite repeated requests not to.
We won’t name names.
Larry.
😂
Then every issue gets ready for its trip to you.
Newspapers are folded, extras are tucked inside, envelopes are stamped, and each package is put together by hand here in Nova Scotia. It’s the final newsroom inspection before your Paw Post heads out the door—sealed, stamped and Crew Approved.
Even the newsroom needs a treat break.
Between headlines, deadlines and Larry’s very important interruptions, The Crew takes a little time to refuel. There’s coffee for the human, treats for the dogs, and absolutely no agreement on who has worked hard enough to deserve seconds.
Spoiler: Larry believes it’s Larry.
